ASTM A106 GR.B Seamless Steel Pipe

ASTM A106 Gr.B Seamless steel pipe belongs to the American standard steel tube, A106-B steel tubes. ASTM A106 seamless steel pipes includes two processes: cold drawing steel pipe and hot rolling steel tube. It is widely used in various industries such as petroleum, chemical industry, boilers, power stations, ships, machinery manufacturing, automobiles, aviation, aerospace, energy, geology, construction and military industry.
A106Gr.B is a seamless carbon steel nominal pipe for high temperature use. Steel is killed steel and should be smelted using one or more of the following methods: open-hearth method, oxygen top-blown converter method or electric furnace method.

ASTMA106GR.B chemical composition:
Carbon: ≤0.3, Silicon: ≤0.1, Manganese: 0.29~1.06, Phosphorus: ≤0.35, Chromium ≤0.4, Copper ≤0.4, Molybdenum: ≤0.15, Nickel: ≤0.4, Vanadium: ≤0.08,
Note: For every 0.01% decrease in carbon content below the specified maximum carbon content, it is allowed to increase the manganese content by 0.06% above the specified maximum manganese content, but the maximum shall not exceed 1.35%.
ASTMA106GR.B mechanical properties:
Yield strength: ≥240, tensile strength: ≥415, elongation: ≥22
ASTM A106Gr.B seamless steel pipe is a widely used low carbon steel and is widely used in the petroleum, chemical and boiler industries. The material has good mechanical properties. Implementing ASTM A106/A106M carbon steel seamless steel pipe standards for high temperature operations, grade B. It can be seen from the ASME B31.3 chemical plant and petroleum refinery piping standard: the use temperature range of A106 material: -28.9~565℃.

General-purpose seamless steel pipe ASTM A53 is suitable for pressure piping systems, pipeline pipes and general-purpose pipes with temperatures below 350°C.
Seamless steel pipe ASTM A106 for high temperature operations, suitable for high temperatures.
